Taylor Swift has given fans 13 seconds of "Patient Zero" — and plenty to discuss before the full music video arrives.
The preview debuted on CBS Mornings on Thursday, September 24. It shows Swift alongside actors Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell in a video shot by cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki. The brief sequence includes a black rose, a graveside scene and figures entering water.
Those images are inviting theories, but the clip does not explain the story behind them. Any interpretation is speculation until Swift shares more.
"Patient Zero" is due Friday, September 25, as part of an expanded edition of The Life of a Showgirl. The full music video is scheduled to premiere Sunday, September 27, during the MTV Video Music Awards.
