Kylie Minogue Takes Flight at the AFL Grand Final
The Melbourne-born pop star turned the MCG pre-game show into a dazzling homecoming, finishing above the field to “Can't Get You Out of My Head.”
Kylie Minogue gave Melbourne a homecoming to remember at the 2026 AFL Grand Final on Saturday, September 26. After a rain-soaked lead-up, the skies eased for her pre-game performance at the MCG.
Across a 20-minute set, the singer moved through hits including “Love at First Sight,” “In Your Eyes,” “Spinning Around,” “Slow,” “Padam Padam” and “The Loco-Motion.” Dancers, costume changes and pyrotechnics brought the stadium show to life.
For the finale, Kylie rose above the field on a giant football bearing her name while singing “Can't Get You Out of My Head.” Sections of the crowd rose to applaud. The pre-game line-up also featured G Flip, Michael Paynter and Mike Brady.
